Christopher Bingham

There's something distinct about Christopher Bingham, aka Bing, and it's his voice. Bing is really good at shouting and he does it quite often in video appearances.

Bing is a creative soul and I get a lot of enjoyment from his sketches and his vlogs. Here is a really good and insightful vlog I adore called 'You Will Love Boring Things'.

He has a couple channels, Slomozovo and Bing Radio. Slomozovo he uses mainly for sketches and little videos more on the acting side and bingradio he describes as 'A channel of talking, travel and life advice from Christopher Bingham.'
Bingradio holds Bing's completed, massive two year project called 'Past Bing Future Bing'. PBFB is a conversation in time where 'Past Bing' made a video everyday in 2011 and in 2012 'Future Bing' answered back everyday. The channel holds other things now, doing the whole talking, traveling, and life advice thing.

The most popular video on Slomozovo is 'The Bothering', one of my favorites that features Bing and his sister Jenny. It definitely serves to showcase Bing's shouting abilities. That video has over 378,000 views.

Bing has been working on a lot of projects lately, like making a musical album. He's also joined fellow youtubers Craig and Matt to help with an app called I'm Actin' Here! Bing has even another YouTube channel called 'Talk' His description of Talk is 'TALK is a discussion channel bringing creators who like to talk together to discuss ideas and issues.'
Basically, it's a platform to encourage pleasant debates amongst themselves via video form and viewers through the comment section. While at PlayList Live, I got to attend Bing's Talk panel and listen to a few Brits and one American talk about Talk and discuss some of the issues they've visited on the channel. It was very well done and is one of those great examples that goes towards one of my favorite reasons for loving youtubers--they aren't always just a pretty face, but can be so intelligent as well.

One on One : Superman Fan Film

There is this place in Illinois called Metropolis. It's actually real. It's the home of the annual Superman festival, geeked to the max s you can imagine. (Yes, I want to go one day, duh.)

One of the activities that goes on at the festival besides the costume contest, celebrity meet-ups, and the like, is a fan film festival. About a year ago, I watched this great video that had won at some point and I recently found it again. The video is called 'One on One' and I assume is by Jake Thomas as the credits says 'One on One' is a Jake Thomas film. It was uploaded to FanSuperFilms' YouTube so I couldn't find too much information about the actual people who made it and acted in it, but the video on this channel has over 14,000 views to date. It is well worth watching, I think, even for people who aren't big Superman fans.

'One on One'

The message of the short film as well as the acting, casting, scripting, filming, editing, and production is all very well done. 'One on One' is a film that will leave you thinking and will end with twists you probably didn't see coming.

I highly recommend it. Apply it to your life, your faith, your surroundings. You can apply in some way, I assure you.
